• For the "finger followers"

Day 36 brings an irresistible urge to get back to normalcy.

I joked before my manicure tonight, that I thought we could probably get an acrylic tip on my finger.  Al's face was so supremely horrified that I pretended that I was only kidding.  (I wasn't.)

My finger is still SUPER hypersensitive, but it is looking so awesome!  I did get some polish on it tonight, much to the chagrin of a few well-meaning, but overly cautious folks who love me.
    Love,

Please keep updating about your finger. I am a young woman who lost the tip of my pinky dec. 25th 2011 and am so confused by all the different methods of treatment...i didn't have the tip to sew back on but basically my doc is using the wait and see method and it is driving me nuts...i see fragmented pieces of old nail that I wish he would take out and save my chance of growing a new nail! i feel so confused...it still looks horrible...but much better than it DID
