... my true loves all went south of Charlotte.
The day after Christmas, we drove down to my mom's house to spend another day with everyone, except Kevin. He met Jessica's family back in Boone. My brother, SIL, and nieces are staying with my mom for the holidays.Soon after we arrived at my mom's, my nieces, and my children were ready for some fun ... up to the clubhouse we went.
The girls swam, while Colton took care of their admission bracelets. (Ashlee thought this was hilarious!)
The guys all headed down to the billiard area. Soon we were all down there and had taken over 4 pool tables.
After dinner we went over to Lowes' Motor Speedway, for their Christmas light display. Zzzzzz Zzzzzz ... BORING!!!!
The best part was when I drove on the speedway and decided to pull out of the slow moving caravan of cars, and give the raceway bank a go. My little SUV felt like it was tilting so far sideways as I drove at a whopping 30 mph. I was whizzing past the other cars (doing about 10 mph) for a short burst, but didn't want to be too much of an asshole so I dropped my inner Nascar driver and got back into the line of "oooh'er and ahhh'ers".
